Ruben S. Martin III
President and Chief Executive Officer
Ruben S. Martin III has served as President and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Martin Resource Management Corporation since 1981 and has served in various capacities within the company since 1974. Mr. Martin holds a bachelor of science degree in industrial management from the University of Arkansas.
Randall L. Tauscher
Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer
Randall L. Tauscher serves as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Martin Resource Management Corporation as well as serving on the Board of Directors. Mr. Tauscher has served in this capacity since May 2011. From November 2007 through May 2011, Mr. Tauscher served as Executive Vice President. Prior to joining Martin, Mr. Tauscher was employed by Koch Industries for over 18 years, most recently as Senior Vice President of the Koch Carbon Division. Mr. Tauscher earned a bachelor of business administration degree from Kansas State University.
Chris Booth
Executive Vice President, Chief Legal Officer, General Counsel & Secretary
Chris Booth serves as Executive Vice President, Chief Legal Officer, General Counsel and Secretary of Martin Resource Management Corporation. Mr. Booth has served in the capacities of Executive Vice President and General Counsel since February 2006 and in the capacity of Secretary since November 2006. Mr. Booth joined Martin Resource Management in October 2005. Prior to joining Martin, Mr. Booth was an attorney with the law firm of Mehaffy Weber located in Beaumont, Texas. Mr. Booth holds a doctor of jurisprudence degree and a masters of business administration degree from the University of Houston. Additionally, Mr. Booth holds a bachelor of science degree in business management from LeTourneau University. Mr. Booth is an attorney licensed to practice in the State of Texas.
Sharon Taylor
Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer
Sharon Taylor serves as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Martin Resource Management Corporation. Ms. Taylor most recently served as Director of Finance. Ms. Taylor was a member of the management group at Prism Gas Systems, Inc. serving as Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, where she continued serving as Controller after Martin’s acquisition of Prism in November 2005. Prior to Prism, Ms. Taylor served as Director of Finance and Investor Relations for Dynamex Inc., a North American logistics company. She also held finance and accounting positions with Union Pacific Resources and UP Fuels. Ms. Taylor holds a bachelor of business administration degree in accounting from Harding University.
Scot A. Shoup
Senior Vice President of Operations
Scot A. Shoup serves as Senior Vice President of Operations for Martin Resource Management Corporation. Mr. Shoup joined Martin in May 2011. Prior to joining Martin, Mr. Shoup was employed by Exline, Inc. as Executive Vice President from 2005 to 2011 and was employed by Koch Industries in various capacities for 18 years. Mr. Shoup holds a bachelor of science degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Kansas.
Terry D. King
Senior Vice President
Terry “Damon” King serves as Senior Vice President of Martin Resource Management Corporation. Mr. King joined Martin in 2003 as Senior Vice President of Martin’s wholly owned subsidiary, Martin Energy Services LLC (formerly Midstream Fuel Service LLC) and subsequently was promoted to Chief Operating Officer of Martin Energy Services LLC. Mr. King previously held the position of Senior Vice President of Operations with Tesoro Petroleum Company’s subsidiary Tesoro Marine Services from 1997 to 2003. Mr. King held various management positions with Tesoro Petroleum Company from 1981 to 1997. Mr. King also held various positions with Conoco from 1977 to 1981. Mr. King holds a bachelor of science degree in Chemistry from Oral Roberts University in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Johnnie Murry
Senior Vice President of Surface Transportation
Johnnie Murry serves as Senior Vice President, Land Transportation for Martin Resource Management Corporation. Mr. Murry joined Martin Resource Management Corporation as a terminal manager for Berry Petroleum Company in Stephens, Arkansas and was later promoted to General Manager for Martin Transport, Inc. Prior to joining Martin, Mr. Murry worked in the truck transportation industry with Crystal Oil. Mr. Murry attended Southwest Technical Institution. He holds a Class III Industrial & Public Wastewater Treatment Operator’s License with the Arkansas Department of Environmental Quality, as well as a Boiler Operator’s License with the Arkansas Department of Labor, Boiler Inspection Divisions.
Mike Ginzel
Senior Vice President Fuel Oil & Asphalt
Mr. Ginzel serves as Senior Vice President of Fuel Oil & Asphalt for Martin Product Sales LLC. Mr. Ginzel has served in various capacities at MPS since 2003. Prior to 2003, Mr. Ginzel served in various capacities with BP affiliates for over 15 years. Mr. Ginzel holds a B.B.A. in Accounting degree from Texas A&M University and has been employed in the energy industry for over 30 years.
Doug Towns
Vice President Cross Oil Refining & Marketing, Inc.
Mr. Towns serves as Vice President of Cross Oil. Mr. Towns has served in this capacity since November 2012. Mr. Towns has 15 years in the Lubricants business with Mobil and Chevron. Prior to joining MRMC, Mr. Towns was the General Manager of Koch Sulfur Product Company. He holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Kansas State University and a M.B.A. from University of Houston.
Michael Newton
Director of Corporate Strategy
Michael Newton serves as Director of Corporate Strategy. Mr. Newton’s areas of knowledge include fuels and lubricants refineries, project management, commercial development, and plant economics. Mr. Newton holds a bachelor of science in chemical engineering and a master of science from Louisiana Tech. He is a registered professional engineer in nine states including Texas, Louisiana, and Arkansas.
Scott Southard
Vice President of Commercial Development
Scott A. Southard serves as Vice President of Commercial Development for Martin Resource Management Corporation. Mr. Southard was a member of the original management group at Prism Gas Systems, Inc. serving as Director of Gas Supply and later as Vice President of Gas Supply for Prism Gas System I, L.P., a position in which he continued serving after Martin’s acquisition of Prism in November 2005. Mr. Southard served in commercial roles with Duke Energy Field Services and Union Pacific Fuels and commercial and engineering roles with Koch Gateway Pipeline Company and United Gas Pipeline Company prior to his employment with Prism. Mr. Southard holds a bachelor of science degree in Engineering Technology from Texas A&M University and has served in several capacities with the Natural Gas Society of East Texas, the Gas Processors Association and a chapter of the Gas Processors Association, and the North Texas Gas Processors Association.
